CW Crypto Traders, in partnership with Apollo Foundation, has launched a Decentralized Apollo Bank in South Africa that lets anyone buy Apollo all-in-one currency using fiat cash. (See photos below.)

The crypto-bank in South Africa is part of the foundation’s strategy of mass adoption by establishing physical locations in major cities where legally permissible.

The foundation’s roadmap includes establishing crypto ATMs in key cities worldwide. It’s prudent to set up this infrastructure so people can convert their cash into cryptocurrencies. Physical locations bring the Web 3.0 economy close to home, and they make cryptos convenient and easy to acquire.

There are more than 3,000 Bitcoin (BTC) ATMs globally and that’s helped to increase BTC adoption everywhere.

Apollo is also exploring mobile options that will allow anyone with a phone (include people without a bank account) to buy and transfer Apollo. Other cryptocurrency projects have pursued this approach and we’ll explore its viability. There’ll be 5 billion mobile phones worldwide by 2019. Phones are becoming platforms for exchanging tokenized value.

A connected world requires frictionless and trustless mediums of exchange. ATMs and physical locations can increase global adoption.
